NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Two more employees of Newport News Shipbuilding have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the total cases at the shipyard to 12.
An employee of an off-yard office, Building 600-2, and an employee in mid-yard Building 4558 were the shipyard's most recent cases. Two other cases have been reported at Building 600, according to data from the shipyard.
The employee of Building 600-2 was last at the shipyard on March 23, while the employee of Building 4558 last reported to the shipyard April 2.
