NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk Festevents announced Thursday that it will postpone all of its May events, including the Spring Town Point Virginia Wine Festival, due to the novel coronavirus.
According to a release by Festevents, the following events will be rescheduled:
- 14th Annual Spring Town Point Virginia Wine Festival (new dates TBD)
- Chip & Sip: A Waterfront Happy Hour Golf Series (new dates TBD)
- TowneBank Fountain Park Opening (May dates canceled; will open June 1)
- Big Bands on the Bay Concert Series at Ocean View Park (May 24 and 31 dates postponed)
Festevents said that it will announce options to redeem tickets for the rescheduled date or refund previously purchased tickets for the Spring Town Point Virginia Wine Festival once a new date is confirmed.
New dates for the listed postponements will be announced in the coming weeks, Festevents said. All other events produced by the company remain scheduled as planned, but are subject to change.
