NORFOLK, Va. - Police responded to a report of a shooting that happened Monday around 8:20 p.m. in the 7500 block of Newport Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found a man who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
