Norfolk Police investigating after man shot in Downtown Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Police Department is investigating after a man was shot near E. Virginia Boulevard Tuesday night.

According to police, around 10:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Olney Road for a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man told officers that he had been shot near the 300 block of E. Virginia Beach Boulevard.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
