Norfolk Police investigating after overnight shooting leaves man dead

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting that left a 30-year-old man dead.

Around 2:10 Friday morning, police were dispatched to the 6200 block of Edward Street for a report of a gunshot victim.

When officers arrived, they located Darius D. Clark, 30, of Norfolk, suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Clark was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
