The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Saturday, there are now 71,654 cases, 945 people hospitalized and 1,395 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,413 new cases and 4 additional deaths from Friday.
A total of 1,018,296 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.
