The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Sunday, there are now 112,713 cases, 1,170 people hospitalized and 1,785 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,621 new cases and 7 additional deaths from Saturday.
A total of 1,613,385 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.
