The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Saturday, there are now 111,092 cases, 1,168 people hospitalized and 1,778 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 2,097 new cases and 32 additional deaths from Friday.
A total of 1,579,042 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.
