The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Thursday, there are now 16,507 cases, 507 people hospitalized and 615 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 691 new cases and 18 additional deaths from Wednesday.
A total of 219,268 people in North Carolina have now been tested.
99 counties in North Carolina report having coronavirus cases.
