The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Sunday, there are now 99,778 cases, 1,115 people hospitalized and 1,634 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,820 new cases and 5 additional deaths from Saturday.
A total of 1,394,864 total coronavirus tests have been completed in North Carolina.
