North Carolina reports more than 2,000 coronavirus cases, 19 deaths

FTC receives 7,800 coronavirus-related consumer fraud complaints

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services reported 2,093 cases of coronavirus in the state as of Friday, April 3.

Nineteen people infected with the coronavirus have died, the department said. The total number of completed coronavirus tests is 31,598.
