The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Friday, there are now 33,255 cases, 717 people hospitalized and 966 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 1,289 new cases and 6 additional deaths from Thursday.
A total of 482,147 people in North Carolina have now been tested.
99 counties in North Carolina report having coronavirus cases.
