North Carolina surpasses 300 coronavirus related deaths with over 100,000 residents tested

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 9,142 cases, 473 people hospitalized and 306 coronavirus related deaths.

That is 312 new cases and 7 additional deaths from Sunday. A total of 109,920 people in North Carolina have now been tested.

95 counties in North Carolina report having coronavirus cases. Camdem County reported their first confirmed coronavirus case on Monday.

The individual is in isolation, reports say. Officials are following North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services guidelines on contact tracing of all individuals who may have had close contact with the case.
