JAMES CITY CO., Va. - Police investigate a 3 vehicle crash that happened on Route 199 west, about ½ mile east of the Longhill Road exit, around 8:30 a.m.
There is one fatality and Route 199 is closed offbetween John Tyler Highway and Longhill Road.
The shut down is expected to last several hours.
Motorists are urged to take an alternate route.
