VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police are currently on scene of a shooting.
Police say the shooting took place Monday near the intersection of Wesleyan Drive and University Ave, which is less than a mile away from Virginia Wesleyan University.
One person was injured as a result of the shooting, police say.
According to reports provided to the University, a wounded person in a vehicle on Wesleyan Drive pulled off into the parking area at Coastal 61 apartments.
