VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left one man injured Friday evening.

Officials say they received a call around 8:47 p.m., that a man was lying in the road in the 4200 hundred block of Foxwood Drive.

According to the investigation, the man was hit by a vehicle and the vehicle left the scene before police arrived. The man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is being investigated as a hit and run by the Fatal Crash Team.
