Pedestrian seriously injured in Norfolk crash on Robin Hood Road

NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk Police are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian that left him seriously injured Thursday evening.

The crash took place in the 3800 block of Robin Hood Road. The call came in at 8:30 p.m.

Police say a 41-year-old man has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver of the car was traveling west on Robin Hood Road when the car hit the pedestrian.

Authorities say the driver remained on scene following the crash.

No other injuries were reported.
