PERQUIMANS Co., N.C. - The NC State Highway Patrol and the District Attorney's Office are investigating a Perquimans County crash that left a victim dead early Sunday morning.
According to police, the call for the crash came in at 1:22 a.m., and officers responded to the 100 block of Cove Road.
One person died from their injuries on the scene. No other injuries were reported, and the details of the crash have not been released.
Support is being provided to the victim's family by Mobile Crisis through Integrated Family Services.
