VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - A crash involving a pedestrian in the 6000 block of Indian River Road has resulted in a death Monday night.

Officers arrived on scene and found the woman, who had been hit by the vehicle. Emergency Medical Services personnel also arrived to assess the victim, who succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead on scene.

The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Amanda Delois Majette of Norfolk.
