NORFOLK, Va. – Virginia State Police are investigating a shooting that happened near the Berkley Bridge Friday evening.
VSP said it was reported around 4 p.m., on WB I-264 east of the Berkley Bridge.
The victim said that they were shot at by an unknown vehicle and they were unable to describe occupants of the unknown vehicle.
Police said the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
As of 7:45 p.m., the westbound lanes of the bridge are open following an earlier detour.

The incident is under investigation.
