Police: 2 men, including possible suspect, injured in Norfolk double shooting

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Police Department is investigating a double shooting that sent two men to the hospital Wednesday evening.

According to police, the call for the shooting came in around 5:30 p.m. Officers responded to 298 W. Bay Avenue, where they found the victims injured.

Police say one of the gunshot victims is believed to be the suspect.

According to Cpl. William D. Pickering Jr., the Norfolk Police Department's public information officer, this shooting is related to a shooting on Monitor Way that also occurred Wednesday evening.

There is no further information on the extent of the victims' injuries or the motive for the shooting.
