SUFFOLK, Va. - The Suffolk Police Department will be loading their squad cars for their annual Stuff the Police Car toy drive Saturday.

The department receives donated toys from two Walmart locations and fills their cars with the toys. Maj. James Buie said the trunk, backseat and passenger seat get loaded.

He added roughly seven to eight cars have gotten filled so far.

The drive is in partnership with Toys for Tots, a program by the United States Marine Corps that gathers toys for needy children, and the Salvation Army.

You can help the police department and Toys for Tots achieve their goal. Just bring a new and unwrapped toy to one of two Suffolk Walmart locations, where police will be set up.

The drive is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
