VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police responded to a situation involving an armed subject in the 1700 block of Centerville Turnpike Thursday night.
Police say the person was threatening self-harm.
The subject was contained within a police perimeter earlier Thursday night, and as of around 9:45 p.m., police say the person was taken into custody without incident.
The area is now clear.
There is no further information.
