Police looking for suspect who robbed Hampton convenience store

HAMPTON, Va. - Police are trying to find the person who they say robbed a local convenience store Friday night.

Around 8:25 p.m., dispatchers received a call about a robbery that had just happened at the King Food Mart in the 900 block of King Street.

Authorities say the suspect went inside the store and demanded money from the clerk. After getting an undisclosed amount of U.S currency, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a Black male who was last seen wearing a black face mask, a black jacket and blue acid wash jeans. There are no photos of the suspect available at this time.
