Police looking for suspect who robbed Hampton paint store

HAMPTON, Va. - Hampton Police are looking for the person who robbed a local paint store Thursday afternoon.

Around 2:50 p.m., dispatchers received a call of a robbery that had just happened at the Sherman Williams in the 600 block of Aberdeen Road.

The investigation revealed the suspect entered the store and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

Police describe the suspect as a black male who is 5' 11" to 6'1" tall, of thin build and a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black sweat pants, a blue surgical mask and white gloves.
