HAMPTON, Va. - Hampton Police recovered a body near Fort Monroe Saturday morning.
According to officials, the body of an adult male was found in the water near East Mercury Blvd and Mcnair Drive (Near Fort Monroe). The call came in at 8:52am.
Officials identified the deceased person as Russell Walden Brown Jr, 50.
Brown was previously reported missing and this incident is now being considered a death investigation.
