The Virginia State Police issued a missing endangered media alert for 85-year-old James "Jimmy" Jenkins on behalf of the Madison County Sheriff's Department.
According to the department, Jenkins was last seen at his residence on Ridgeview Road February 4 at 6 p.m.
He is a white male, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. Police say he was last seen wearing a black and white flannel shirt with blue jeans.
He was believed to be traveling in a blue 2000 Chevy S10 pickup with Virginia tags reading JXM-1011.
The disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety, according to the Madison County Sheriff's Department.
