Police searching for suspect after woman carjacked in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. - A woman was carjacked in Hampton this week, and police need your help finding the person who committed the crime.

At 12:08 a.m. Wednesday, dispatchers received a call in reference to a carjacking that had just happened in the first block of Bacon Street.

According to police, the victim pulled into the driveway of a home when she was approached by an unknown black male. The suspect demanded money and her vehicle key and pulled out a knife.

The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s black 2013 Infiniti JX35. The vehicle was last seen headed westbound on Settlers Landing Road.

The suspect is described as a black male who is in his mid-30s, is between 6'0"–6'1"tall, of medium build and was last seen wearing all black clothing and a black face mask.

This case remains under investigation and it is unknown, at this time, if it is related to any other similar cases.
