HAMPTON, Va. - The Hampton Police Division needs help identifying the suspect(s) in connection with a shooting that took place on May 4.
Around 7:32 p.m., officials received a call in reference to shots fired in the area of Nickerson Boulevard and Glascow Way. While officers were investigating, a 17-year-old female victim who had been struck by gunfire walked into a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was walking in the area when shots were fired from a passing vehicle, striking the victim.
The motive and circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation, and there is no suspect information to disseminate at this time.
