PORTSMOUTH, Va. - The Portsmouth Marine Terminal was supposed to host the Norwegian Cruise Line vessel Bliss as trips are suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The vessel was going to be at berth for 30 days in compliance with the industry’s voluntary suspension of U.S. cruise operations, Port of Virginia officials said.

There are no passengers aboard the ship and the crew has been tested for COVID-19 with all tests coming back negative, officials said.

On Wednesday Norwegian Cruise Lines said Bliss will not be coming to Portsmouth. They have decided to send it somewhere else.
