PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Monday morning.
The incident happened in the 2500 block of Victory Blvd., around 12:45 a.m.
Officers said they found 21-year-old Lamonte Devon Spencer with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Spencer was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Spencer’s family has been notified of his passing.
There is no suspect information at this time, according to police.
