PORTSMOUTH, Va. — PORTSMOUTH, Va. - The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two people injured Monday night.
Police say they received a call around 10:19 p.m. about a shooting in the 4200 block of Greenwood Drive.
According to police, police found one man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.
The adult man was shot in his lower body and the woman was shot in an extremity, according to police officials. Both were taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
