PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Portsmouth Police have located a person of interest in reference to a death investigation.
On Monday, May 11 at approximately 2:26 p.m., dispatch received a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot in the 100 block of Dale Drive. When officers arrived, they found the man with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Late Thursday night, detectives announced they have located 19-year-old Mary M. Woods of Portsmouth in reference to this case. Authorities asked for the public's help in finding Woods earlier Thursday evening.
