PORTSMOUTH, Va. - The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 10 block of Royal Street that left a man seriously injured early Monday afternoon.
The call came in at 12:12 p.m.
Police tell News 3 the man was shot in the upper body. Medics took him to the hospital for treatment for his injuries, which are said to be serious.
There is no further information.
