PORTSMOUTH, Va. - A shooting in the 100 block of Dale Drive left a man seriously injured Wednesday evening.
Police say the shooting took place around 6:24 p.m.
Officers arrived and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. They say he was found behind a home near the railroad tracks.
Medics took the man to a local hospital. His injuries are said to be serious.
There is no further information.
