VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Virginia Beach Regal Cinemas movie theater in Town Center is set to close permanently.
Regal Cinemas located at 104 Constitution Dr., will close due to a lease that fallen into default.
The owners, Armanda Hoffler Properties, confirmed the news on Tuesday that they will be redeveloping their focus and envision a major multi-family component for other uses.
Cineworld Group Plc announced early October that 536 Regal cinemas in the U.S. and 127 Cineworld and Picturehouse venues in the U.K. will close.
