Roads remain closed in Hampton Roads counties following heavy rain, flooding

Flooding throughout Hampton Roads Saturday left roads closed in Surry, York, Isle of Wight and James City Counties, with closures extending into Sunday morning.

According to 511 Virginia's road conditions table, the following roads remain closed due to standing water:

Surry County

  • VA-10E from Hollybush Road, Rt. 618 N/S
  • VA-10W from Idlewild Lane; Martin Luther King Highway; Swanns Point Road; Rt. 646 N/S; VA-40 E/W
  • Rt. 618 S from Rt. 616 E/W
  • Rt. 618 S from Rt. 648 E/W
  • Rt. 610 E from Rt. 646 N
  • Rt. 634 E from Chippokes Park Road; Rt. 665 N/S
  • Rt. 646 N from Rt. 626 N/S
  • Rt. 618 N from Rt. 610 E/W

James City County

  • Rt. 614 N from John Tyler Highway; VA-5 E/W; Centerville Road
  • Rt. 632 N from Jolly Pond Road; Rt. 611 E/W

Isle of Wight County
