FAIRFAX, Va. — The Senior Alert for an 85-year-old Fairfax man has been canceled.
Virginia State Police issued the alert after William Shaw was last seen at Clara Barton Road around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The alert was canceled Thursday night after State Police said Shaw had been located.
Authorities say Shaw suffers from a cognitive impairment and his disappearance posed a credible threat to his health and safety.
