HAMPTON, Va. - A truck full of gifts for seniors rolled up ready for delivery outside Langley Village in Hampton Tuesday.

"Anything we could do to help brighten the spirits and help lift everything and make them feel better is what we will do," said Danielle Falvo with Stor Moore and the Mail Box Store of Yorktown.

The company is playing the role of Santa this season.

The seniors received everything from household cleaners, robes and pajamas to comforter sets and gift cards.

"With COVID, they are self-isolating; some of them may have been sick and without family," said Falvo.

The partnership with the business and the Peninsula Agency of Aging has helped more than 500 seniors over the past five years as part of the Senior Angel Tree program.

"I don't know if there family or friends are allowed to come visit them, so this way we ensure they get something for Christmas," said Falvo.
