Several guns stolen from Chesapeake business, police investigating

CHESAPEAKE, Va. - The Chesapeake Police Department is currently investigating a business burglary that resulted in several firearms being stolen.

According to police, the incident occurred early Saturday morning around 2:57 a.m., at Chesapeake Pawn and Gun located in the 3330 block of South Military Highway.

When police arrived on scene, they found evidence of forced entry into the business.

No suspects were located at the scene, police say.

After further investigation, police discovered that several firearms were stolen.

Police are investigating the burglary with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

The ATF is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons in this burglary.
