Pasquotank Co. man with autism home safe, sheriff's office says

PASQUOTANK CO., N.C. — A 20-year-old man who went missing Tuesday night has been found safe.

The Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office says Jacob Roger Henderson is back home.

Authorities issued a missing persons alert after Henderson was last seen in the 100 block of Pine Lake Drive just before 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Henderson is said to be mildly autistic but high-functioning.

Officials did not elaborate on where Henderson was found.
