State Police cancel Senior Alert for missing Fairfax County man

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - Virginia State Police have canceled a Senior Alert for 75-year-old Michael Leonard Delaney.

The Senior Alert was canceled on Wednesday with no active leads.

Michael Delaney suffers from a cognitive impairment and his disappearance could pose a threat to his health and safety, according to officials.

Delaney was last seen on May 10 at 11 p.m., leaving Reston Hospital Door G on survelliance footage.

State Police say he was admitted to the hospital for a fall and a possible stroke.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket over a yellow hospital gown, dark shoes with white soles, and dark frame glasses with a strap. Police say he is possibly wearing his wedding band, his high school gem ring, and a black watch.
