PORTSMOUTH, Va. - The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating after a student allegedly attempted to bring a firearm to I.C. Norcom High School Monday.
According to police, the student was apprehended before entering the building, and police recovered a firearm from them. The student was then detained.
This incident is still under investigation. Police have not said if the student faces charges.
