SUFFOLK, Va. - Police and fire crews responded to a two vehicle accident that happened in the 2200 block of Bridge Road at the Godwin Bridge Tuesday.
The incident was reported around 6:45 a.m.
After investigating, fire crews sent both drivers to the nearest hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
One lane of traffic was open and traffic was alternated.
As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, the roadway completely reopened.
The investigation is ongoing, and no other information is available at this time.
