Suffolk Police investigate after vehicle stolen from 7-Eleven, shot fired at store

SUFFOLK, Va. – Suffolk Police are investigating a stolen vehicle incident that took place at a 7-Eleven store.

Police say the vehicle theft occurred at the 7-Eleven located in the 6400 block of Hampton Roads Parkway on Sunday around 10:31 p.m.

According to officials, the vehicle owner reportedly went inside the store and left his vehicle running and unlocked. Police say then another vehicle pulled up to the store, someone got out and drove off with the man’s car.

During the time when the vehicle was being stolen, someone reportedly shot at the store, hitting the front glass of the store. No one was injured, according to officials.

The vehicle was later found by State Police in Chesapeake.
