SUFFOLK, Va. - Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire and Rescue units responded to a four vehicle crash that involved a police vehicle Sunday evening.
According to officials, police responded to the crash at Route 58 Westbound just west of the Weigh Station at 9:14 p.m.
An SUV, two passenger vehicles, and a police vehicle were involved, officials say.
Officials say the officer was not inside the vehicle at the time and was not injured.
One man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the area is now reopen for traffic.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
