VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Police are investigating after three people were shot at the Oceanfront early Friday night.
Around 1:20 a.m., officers reported gunshots at the 1900 block of Atlantic Avenue.
When officers arrived they discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Several minutes later, officials received phone calls about three victims who were shot, all within the same vicinity of the initial shooting.
All victims have been transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries, reports say.
Police say this is still an active investigation.
