Woman dies after Norfolk triple shooting, sends 2 people to hospital

NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk detectives are investigating a triple shooting that has left one woman dead, and another woman and man injured.

Around 10:35 p.m., Monday night, officials received a call regarding gunshots in the 1000 block of Dubose Drive. This shooting sent two women and one man to the hospital.

Medics transported all three of the victims to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to be treated for injuries.

On Tuesday, police reported that one of the female victims, 38-year-old Deatrice D. Lawrence, died from her injures.

At this time, there is still no suspect information and no arrests have been made.
