SUFFOLK, Va. - Suffolk Fire & Rescue units responded to a residential structure fire in the 800 block of Kilby Avenue on Friday morning.
Crews arrived on scene around 2:15 a.m.
Smoke was showing from the single story residence and the occupants had evacuated before firefighters got there, officials said.
Six occupants, including two adults and four children have been displaced and will be assisted by the Red Cross.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
