Man, woman suffering life-threatening injuries after Virginia Beach shooting

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Police responded to a shooting Friday morning that left two adults injured.

The incident was reported around 7:45 a.m. and happened in the 1700 block of Stone Church Mews.

A man and a woman were taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said they are not seeking any suspects, and said the incident appeared to be domestic-related.

On May 5, Virginia Beach Police announced charges have been filed and warrants were served for this incident.

67-year-old Edwin Cruz of Virginia Beach was charged with Felonious Assault and Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony.
